IMPORTANT!!!
For the PROVIDER ONE update, go into
eclaims choose HELP and choose UPDATES. This will make the changes
to your ANSI format that are required for the PROVIDER ONE transition.
We are aware that Premera plans to
cease clearinghouse operations next year and are working to transition
our Premera customers to the AVAILITY clearinghouse. We will let
you know when you need to do something.
We are aware of the ANSI X12 5010
format changes, and will be testing later this year.
NSF to ANSI
We are well aware of this transition and are
attempting to get it out as quickly as we can. Below is our status
listed by clearinghouse.
If your clearinghouse is:
- Availity (Regence BlueShield) - Testing is
done and distribution is under way. We will contact you to
perform the update prior to the June 1 deadline. If you do not
hear from us, please call and we will get the update to you.
- Premera Blue Cross - done.
- BlueCross of Idaho - done. Please
contact us if you have not yet received the update.

For questions on reports that you received from
your clearinghouse, please contact them first to get a clear picture of
what the problem is. Often times errors can be resolved simply by
changing a keypunch routine.
The May 23rd deadline for removing legacy numbers
is here! Concerning electronic claims you will need to remove the
legacy numbers for Medicare and Regence claims prior to submitting on
May 23rd. Instructions are
HERE.
For those experiencing errors with sending Blue
Cross of Idaho claims through the Availity Web Portal (formerly THIN)
which state that the "SUBMITTER AND SUBID NOT FOUND ON TRADING PARTNER
AGREEMENT" you will need to run the following utility.
Click the link and when prompted choose RUN.
This will self extract to your eclaims folder and run the utility.
