IMPORTANT!!!
If you are submitting to the Availity
Clearinghouse and received an update from us recently you need to update
your software. Simply go into eCLAIMS, go to HELP and choose
UPDATES. You should see some black text scroll by and eventually
see "press any key to continue". This will download the latest
version of the program from our server and get you up to date. If
this fails to work, or you are still receiving errors, call us to help
with the problem.
NSF to ANSI
We are well aware of this transition and are
attempting to get it out as quickly as we can. Below is our status
listed by clearinghouse.
If your clearinghouse is:
- Availity (Regence BlueShield) - Testing is
done and distribution is under way. We will contact you to
perform the update prior to the June 1 deadline. If you do not
hear from us, please call and we will get the update to you.
- Premera Blue Cross - done.
- BlueCross of Idaho - done. Please
contact us f you have not yet received the update.

For questions on reports that you received from
your clearinghouse, please contact them first to get a clear picture of
what the problem is. Often times errors can be resolved simply by
changing a keypunch routine.
The May 23rd deadline for removing legacy numbers
is here! Concerning electronic claims you will need to remove the
legacy numbers for Medicare and Regence claims prior to submitting on
May 23rd. Instructions are

For those experiencing errors with sending Blue
Cross of Idaho claims through the Availity Web Portal (formerly THIN)
which state that the "SUBMITTER AND SUBID NOT FOUND ON TRADING PARTNER
AGREEMENT" you will need to run the following utility.
Click the link and when prompted choose RUN.
This will self extract to your eclaims folder and run the utility.
